If you were a former five-star quarterback recruit, Week 6 was a rough week for you in college football. On Saturday, we saw several former blue-chip signal-callers have poor performances, including Texas' Arch Manning, Oregon's Dylan Raiola, UCLA's Nico Iamaleava and Vanderbilt's Jared Curtis.
All four of their teams lost, and each signal-caller had down performances that contributed to their teams' losing.
Let's run through how each former five-stars struggled on Saturday.

Texas fell 27-24 to Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, as Manning had two costly interceptions in the fourth quarter. His first interception was returned for a pick-six, which allowed Oklahoma to tie the game up at 24:

Oregon lost its second game of the season to UCLA, as head coach Dan Lanning even benched Dylan Raiola, who was starting for a still-injured Dante Moore. Raiola, who made 22 starts at Nebraska, threw two interceptions and lost a fumble. He was benched for backup Brock Thomas in the fourth quarter.

Although the Bruins got the victory, UCLA also had a quarterback change. Iamaleava also threw two interceptions, both coming in the first half.
He took a big hit just before halftime, and missed a play but came back in. His first play back, he threw his second interception of the day just before the half.

He did not return with his team to the sideline when it came out for the second half, as CBS' Jenny Dell reported that he was injured. He returned later to the sideline without his pads on. The Bruins went with backup Ty Dieffenbach for the rest of the game, and he threw a touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter. He also fumbled on his own goal line to set up Oregon's first touchdown when the ball just slipped out of his hand.
Another five-star that struggled was Vanderbilt starting quarterback Jared Curtis, whose team took on Ole Miss at home. During the Rebels' 52-17 rout of the Commodores, Curtis had three turnovers, including two interceptions and a fumble.
