Happy Sunday Husky fans. Hopefully everyone was able to de-compress yesterday after another rough outing for the team. With a game on Friday there weren’t many recruits at the game (probably a good thing). Today I wanted to share some updates on some of the Huskies commits and how they are doing in their senior seasons.
4 star cornerback Censere Gaylord from IMG academy is locking down his side of the field and has 2 INT’s, including one for a touchdown, and 21 total tackles through 6 games (and 5 passes defended). Gaylord has had a stellar senior season and should come in as a potential contributor next year for the Huskies (battle for playing time). The Huskies were able to beat out a ton of major programs for Gaylord and if they can keep him in the fold he should be a major asset for the Huskies on the field.
4 star wide receiver Tre Moore from Weiss HS, also has had a strong senior season with 44 catches, 501 yards and 6 touchdowns. Moore, who has the size that most college and NFL teams covet, is a player Husky fans should be salivating to see on Montlake over the next couple of years (he’s listed at 6’3” and around 200 pounds).
3 star linebacker Ethan Coach from St John Bosco HS in another Husky who has had a strong senior season so far. Through 5 games he has accounted for 33 total tackles, 2 TFL’s and 1 sack. Listed at around 6’2” and close to 210 pounds, Coach has the size and speed to play a traditional linebacker role but also potentially rush the passer in situational pass rush plays.
That is all for today and as always keep following me @asieverkropp for recruiting news real-time.
