The Alabama Crimson Tide‘s ranking in the latest AP Poll Top 25 has been revealed following an Iron Bowl win over Auburn.

Released on Sunday afternoon, Alabama was ranked as the nation’s No. 10 overall team. This was the same ranking as a year ago, meaning that Alabama did not move following a win over Auburn.

On Saturday night, the Crimson Tide improved to 10-2 overall (7-1 SEC) with a 27-20 victory over the Tigers, which was a game where Alabama claimed the lead late following a lengthy fourth quarter drive. Alabama also made some big plays late, with none bigger than a forced fumble from Bray Hubbard in the fourth quarter.

Following the win, Alabama advances to the SEC Championship Game vs. Georgia, which will be played Saturday, Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. ET on ABC. Georgia was ranked as the nation’s No. 3 team in Sunday’s AP Poll.
