The Texas Longhorns will be looking to bounce back from their loss last week against the Oklahoma Sooners with Saturday’s matchup against the Florida Gators, and it looks like they will be getting a key defensive contributor back from injury.

Texas defensive lineman Justus Terry has been held out since suffering an injury during warmups prior to the Ohio State game, and he is now looking primed to return to action on Saturday, as he is listed as probable according to the injury report on Wednesday evening.

Offensive lineman Jaydon Chatman is a new addition to the injury report, and he will miss Saturday’s matchup as he is listed as out. Both wide receiver Kaliq Lockett and offensive lineman Jordan Coleman have been on the injury report for multiple weeks now and it looks like Coleman is inching closer to being ready to return to act as he is listed as questionable, while Lockett looks likely to miss another week.

Getting a guy like Terry back in the defensive line rotation is more depth to an already deep unit in the middle of the Texas defense. Terry was receiving rave reviews throughout fall camp and it was disappointing to see him miss time all things considered.

Meanwhile, on the Florida side of things, wide receiver Vernell Brown III, quarterback Aaron Philo, and wide receiver Bailey Stockton are all listed as questionable on the injury report. Florida head coach Jon Sumrall seemed optimistic that Brown would play this week after sitting out the last two games with an injury.

We will see how things progress towards the end of the week, but looks like both teams in this matchup will be getting key contributors back on the field come Saturday.
