Florida State is looking to add to their No. 5 recruiting class in the 2028 recruiting cycle. Quarterback is a position they haven't gotten a commitment from yet, and they need to recruit better in that area. With that said, the Seminoles have made an offer to four-star prospect Tristin Gaines out of Waller High School in Waller, Texas.

"AGTG Blessed to receive an 🅾️ffer from @FSUFootball very blessed 🙏🏾!!," Gaines announced on social media.

He has close to 30 offers on the table. The LSU Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, Florida Gators, Oregon Ducks, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Tennessee Volunteers, SMU Mustangs, and more have extended scholarships to Gaines as well.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder is the No. 182 overall player in the country and the No. 13 quarterback per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also listed as the No. 21 prospect in the state of Texas.

Gaines has been lights out during his junior campaign. He's completed 61% of his passes for 1,772 yards and 24 touchdowns to zero interceptions. He's also put up 479 yards and 39 carries (12.3 per carry) and two touchdowns on the ground, which includes two 100-yard performances. He's led the Bulldogs to a 5-1 record so far.

FSU hasn't had Gaines in for a visit yet, and that needs to be the next step.
