Vote for the lohud Football Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital

The kids call it balling out.

We start each week of the football season by recognizing some of the individuals who performed exceptionally well over the weekend. Please catch up on what our finalists got done on the field, then vote for the lohud Football Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital.

The poll will remain open until Wednesday at 3 p.m. and we'll feature the winner on lohud sports social media accounts.

Connor Brice, Tuckahoe

The senior quarterback choreographed a 13-7 win over Greenwich in the NYSPHSAA Class D East Semifinal. He ran for 159 yards on 26 carries and completed 6 of 10 passes for 59 yards.

Brian Formato, Bronxville

The senior running back delivered 150 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries before heading to the sideline to cheer the second unit during a 49-16 win over Schuylerville in the NYSPHSAA Class C East Semifinal.

Julian Guzman, Iona Prep

The senior quarterback completed 18 of 25 attempts for 267 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Gaels to a repeat win in the New York state Catholic school championship game. He also had 101 yards on eight carries in the 42-21 victory over St. Francis.

Carson Miller, Rye

The senior quarterback threw for 317 yards and three touchdowns, completing 15 of 18 attempts, in a 35-7 NYSPHSAA Class A East Semifinal win over Cornwall. He also ran for 85 yards and one touchdown.

Brayden Richardson, Sleepy Hollow

The senior running back had record-setting day with 446 yards and five touchdowns on 27 carries, propelling the Horsemen to a 42-20 win over Glens Falls in the NYSPHSAA Class B East Semifinal. He broke the Section 1 single-game record for rushing yards.
