Something will have to give when Penn State and Michigan collide in Michigan Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The stakes are considerably lower than a matchup like this typically brings to the table as both Penn State and Michigan are merely looking to turn their seasons around and generate some momentum for the second half of the year.
Penn State and Michigan are each looking to break losing streaks since the start of Big Ten play. Penn State has dropped three consecutive games, with a pair of losses at home to Wisconsin and USC bookending a blowout loss at Northwestern. The Wolverines were off last week but lost to Iowa at home on the final play of the game and at Minnesota in the battle for the Little Brown Jug.

Penn State vs. Michigan betting odds

Odds courtesy of BetMGM.
- Spread: Penn State +6.5
- Penn State moneyline: +190
- Michigan moneyline: -235
- Over/under: 42.5
Penn State has been the underdog in this matchup all week long, according to the betting lines. The spread does feel a tad high given the offensive woes of Michigan this season. Penn State's offense should be slowed by the Wolverines' defense; however, the under feels like the safest bet to take in this matchup, as not a lot of scoring should be expected in this game.
