"College GameDay" won't have to travel far from its Week 7 stop in Week 8.
The ESPN pregame show announced on Sunday, Oct. 18 that it's taking the drive up from Provo, Utah to Salt Lake City to be at the expected top-20 matchup between Utah and Houston on Saturday, Oct. 24.
It is the third time in the last four seasons that "College GameDay" will pay a visit to Salt Lake City, with the latest trip coming last season, when the Utes hosted Cincinnati.
We liked the Beehive State so much that we’re sticking around!

Next Saturday's matchup between Utah and Houston is one of the marquee games on the Week 8 schedule and one that involves College Football Playoff implications, with both teams near the top of the Big 12 standings.
Under first-year coach Morgan Scalley, the Utes are undefeated at 6-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play, while the Cougars enter at 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the Big 12.
Utah staved off an upset on the road at Colorado on Saturday with a 27-24 win against Deion Sanders' Buffaloes. Dampier threw for three touchdowns while the Utes' defense, which has been stellar for much of the season, was tested in the second half as the Buffaloes attempted a rally.
Houston has won four straight since its Week 3 loss at Texas Tech. The Cougars, behind a five-touchdown day from Conner Weigman, pulled out a 35-32 win against No. 20 Oklahoma State in Week 7. Houston has not appeared on "College GameDay" in over a decade, with its last appearance coming in 2011 against SMU.
Utah and Houston are set for a 10:15 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 24.
