NORMAN — OU football is busy on the recruiting trail during its off week following the conclusion of the regular season.
Two days before signing day, the Sooners garnered commitments from a couple of under-the-radar prospects in 2026 linebacker Kristan Moore and 2027 running back Keldrid Ben on Monday.
Moore, who is listed at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds and from Selma, Alabama, decommitted from North Alabama on Sunday. He's listed as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals, but he doesn't have a recruiting page on ESPN.
Ben's commitment was a surprising one. After all, he doesn't have a profile page on any of the three major recruiting sites.
At 5-foot-10 and 210 pounds, Ben rushed for 1,560 yards and 15 touchdowns during his junior season at Montgomery High School in Texas.
According to his X account, the other offers Ben has received are from McNeese and UTSA.
