SOUTH BEND — Notre Dame football and fourth-year coach Marcus Freeman are on track to reel in a championship-level recruiting haul when the Early Signing Period opens Wednesday morning.
Under first-year general manager Mike Martin and recruiting director Carter Auman, the Irish have a 2026 recruiting class that features five-star talents such as Rodney Dunham, a defensive end from Charlotte, N.C.; Ian Premer, the nation’s top-rated tight end from Great Bend, Kan.; and Joey O’Brien, a top-two safety from Wyndmoor, Pa.
