College football’s early signing period is officially set to begin on Wednesday, December 3 before drawing to a close on Friday.
The vast majority of players currently committed to schools will officially sign their financial aid agreement documents, locking them into their programs. There still exists a signing period in February used by some players, but it’s largely been supplanted by the December early signing.
With this in mind, it’s worth checking in on Indiana’s incoming class of 2026. The program picked up some momentum in recent weeks with a handful of flips, but lost a few commitments in the process. That’s how it goes, no harm no foul.
Here’s where Indiana’s current recruiting class shakes out among the major recruiting services including national ranking, rank in the Big Ten and the highest-rated recruit. As of right now, the class contains 22 committed prospects.
On3/Rivals
- National rank: 28th
- Big Ten rank: 9th
- Highest-rated player: 4-star DL Gabe Hill (Naperville North High School in Naperville, Illinois) – 167th national, 17th DL
247Sports
- National rank: 29th
- Big Ten rank: 9th
- Highest-rated player: 4-star DL Kevontay Hugan (Booker High School in Sarasota, Florida) – 180th national, 20th DL
