As expected, Ohio State remained No. 1 in the fifth CFP rankings reveal of 2025, less than a week before we get the final rankings after the conference championship games, including the Buckeyes vs. the No. 2 Hoosiers on Saturday in the Big Ten Championship game.
The top ten teams remained pretty much the same, just in a little different order. Behind Ohio State and Indiana are Georgia (3), Texas Tech (4), Oregon (5), Ole Miss (6), Texas A&M (7), Oklahoma (8), Alabama (9), and Notre Dame (10), rounding out the top ten. The two teams that might need a little help because of the auto-bids and Group of Five teams getting in include BYU at No. 11 and Miami (FL) at No. 12.
You would think that both OSU and Indiana will be a top four seed no matter what happens Saturday in Indy, but we'll just have to wait and see. The ACC Championship game, highest highest-ranked Group of Five team, and perhaps BYU are going to throw a wrench into things this year.
Below is the rest of the CFP rankings.
