Michigan State football has picked up their first recruiting flip of the Pat Fitzgerald era.

Jack Ziarko of Canton, Ohio has flipped his commitment from Miami (OH) to Michigan State and has officially signed with the Spartans. His flip from the RedHawks to the Spartans was made official on Wednesday morning — which is the first day of the early signing period.

Ziarko is three-star interior offensive lineman, with a recruiting rating of 87 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 68 interior offensive lineman and No. 40 player from Ohio in 247Sports' composite rankings.

Ziarko has been committed to Miami (OH) since April, but Michigan State has started to pick up its recruiting efforts for him in the last few weeks. He picked up an offer from the Spartans last week, and then completed the flip on Wednesday morning.
