One of the best athletes in Saint Andrew’s School history made it official with the Fighting Irish on National Signing Day.

Dylan Faison, a three-star football prospect and once the nation’s No. 1 lacrosse recruit, officially signed with the University of Notre Dame on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

Faison is a three-star wide receiver prospect who ranks as the No. 92 overall prospect from Florida in the Class of 2026 according to 247 Sports. He also played defensive back and excelled as a special teams return man in high school.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound athlete hauled in 2,138 yards and 27 touchdowns as receiver for the Scots. He also scored six punt and kick return touchdowns in his varsity career and returned a pair of interceptions for scores.

Saint Andrew’s football enjoyed unprecedented success with Faison in uniform.

The Scots went 10-2 in 2025 and won a district championship and regional playoff game. Last season, the Scots won the program’s first regional playoff game since 1974. In 2023, Saint Andrew’s won its first district championship since 1985.

Dylan Faison recruitment

Faison, whose older brother Jordan is a receiver for the Fighting Irish, has been almost single-minded in his recruitment.

He committed to the Fighting Irish in March 2024 and took only one other visit in his recruitment, earning an offer from the Miami Hurricanes at a camp in June 2025.

Faison was the nation’s No. 1 lacrosse recruit in the Class of 2026 before reclassifying to the Class of 2025 for lacrosse.

According to Inside Lacrosse, he is expected to early enroll with Notre Dame to join the Fighting Irish men’s lacrosse team in the spring.
