Defensive lineman Wihtlley Cadeau signs with Florida State

Another defensive lineman has officially inked his name with the ‘Noles.

Wihtlley Cadeau, a 6-foot-5, 295-pound defensive lineman from Atlanta, Georgia, committed to FSU back on June 8, 2025. He claimed other offers from Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, UCF, Purdue, and Cincinnati. 247Sports Composite considers him the 739th best player in the nation (82nd best DL, 79th best in GA).

Cadeau is a developmental defensive lineman expected to play along the interior and will need to reshape his body some before contributing. He has the frame to add on good bulk while retaining athleticism and could develop into a nice rotational player down the line.

From his official Florida State bio:

Three-star defensive lineman out of Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta…ranked No. 40 defensive lineman by ESPN and No. 71 by 247Sports…had 39 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack for Washington in 2024…committed to FSU in June 2025 and selected Florida State over offers from Georgia, Florida and Georgia Tech, among others.
