We've got some early signing day drama after a Wednesday in which many recruits joined their future college football teams.
Chris Henry Jr. is a top recruit as a receiver out of Mater Dei High School. He's the son of late former NFL wideout Chris Henry who was also adopted by Pacman Jones.
Henry Jr. had verbally committed to Ohio State and seemed like he was heading in that direction… but the world found out on Wednesday that Buckeyes offensive coordinator and receivers coach Brian Hartline was leaving to coach at South Florida.
Then? Henry posted this on X (formerly Twitter):
I have not signed yet. Still trying to weigh my options due to coaching changes I just want to make the right decision for my future.
Gods plan
