As Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer said Thursday, Dec. 4, Kelby Collins was added to the Crimson Tide’s injury list ahead of the SEC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 6 vs. Georgia.
Collins and LT Overton, who was on the initial SEC availability report as out, are both unavailable with “illnesses, medical issues,” per DeBoer.
In the SEC Championship Game press conference, DeBoer also said running back Jam Miller is “still questionable” along with tight end Josh Cuevas. DeBoer said offensive lineman Kam Dewberry is “coming along.” Each is listed as questionable, along with tight end Danny Lewis Jr.
“All those guys a couple weeks down the road will be definitely good to go,” DeBoer said. “Kind of here one week out from last week’s game, some of the injuries that have happened, we’re not quite sure yet. They’re coming along, working, doing everything they can.”
Alabama kicks off against Georgia in the SEC championship at 3 p.m. CT Saturday, Dec. 6 on ABC.
