Windsor's Adrian Czyszczon named Blue FCU Football Player of the Week

It’s the 14th and final edition of the Blue Federal Credit Union Fort Collins-area Football Player of the Week for the 2025 high school season.
Windsor’s Adrian Czyszczon took top honors for games played Nov. 29 after rumbling to a huge semifinal performance.
The Windsor running back wore the Holy Family defense out in a comeback 21-14 Final Four win over the fifth-seeded Tigers on Nov. 29.
Czyszczon ran the ball 39 times for a whopping 249 yards and two touchdowns in a career game.
That included the biggest score of the day, as Czyszczon put No. 1 Windsor ahead for good with an early fourth-quarter TD run.
It completed a comeback effort after the Wizards trailed 14-7 deep into the second half before Czyszczon and the ground game really took over.
The senior rusher finished the game averaging 6.4 yards per carry for his first 200-plus-yard outing and eighth 100-plus-yard effort.
Windsor plays for the Class 3A state championship on Dec. 6 at CSU’s Canvas Stadium, and Czyszczon is a big reason why.
The second-year starter and reigning 4A state wrestling champion has 1,554 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns during the Wizards’ 13-0 run.
Czyszczon is the second Windsor player to earn Blue Federal Credit Union Player of the Week honors this season, joining teammate Matyas Velgersdyk.
Windsor fans showed their championship anticipation at the polls, pushing Czyszczon over the field with 63.8% of the vote.
That ultimately propelled him past four other state-title nominees from Wellington and his own Windsor teammates.
