The 2025 Augusta high school football regular season is in the books. Playoff action for teams who qualified will begin their journey to capture a state title on Nov. 14. Flag football, meanwhile, is in the thick of competition as the mid-point of the season is quickly approaching. Let's take a look back at the last week of play to see who will earn the title of Augusta's athlete of the week.

Below are the nominees for the Athlete of the Week from last week's action. The poll will be open until Sunday, Nov. 9 at 5 p.m.

Derrick Lane, Grovetown football

The senior had 217 rushing yards and four touchdowns against Heritage.

Jaris Sinkfield, Thomson football

The senior accumulated 230 total yards and three touchdowns against Butler.

Marty Thomas, Richmond Academy football

The senior rushed for 106 yards and he ran in two touchdowns against Aquinas.

Carson Hand, Richmond Academy football

The sophomore threw for 154 passing yards and a touchdown against Aquinas.

Sean Vandiver, Burke County football

The senior had 282 total yards and three touchdowns against Laney.

Kimauri Jackson, Richmond Academy flag football

The sophomore had 105 passing yards and threw for a pair of touchdowns.

Eusteen Keso, Richmond Academy flag football

The senior earned 41 receiving yards and scored a touchdown as well.

Addisen Odom, Greenbrier flag football

The sophomore threw for 221 passing yards and a whopping seven touchdowns.

Jayla Aylar, Greenbrier flag football

The sophomore had 69 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Kyleigh Chase, Evans flag football

The junior had 74 total yards and managed to reach the end zone three times.

Brooklyn Moss, Davidson flag football

The junior had 74 passing yards and two touchdowns.

Simiyah Harper, Davidson flag football

The senior rushed for 113 yards and ran in a touchdown.
