How to watch CFP rankings for Texas Football fans: Time, live stream, channel

Where will the Texas Longhorns be ranked tonight when the first College Football Playoff Rankings come out? Will the Horns be ranked at all? The US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 are good guides. They are used by the CFP committee. But there are other factors in play.

Obviously, the Longhorns have had an uneven season. But, fresh off a win over a Top 10 opponent, Texas is trending up. The Longhorns WILL make the college football playoff if they win out. Wins over Top 5 teams Georgia and Texas A&M and a 10-2 record would make Texas a lock. In fact, it probably would get them into the SEC title game.

Does a 9-3 Texas team get in? It probably depends on how they lost the third game. If UT is beaten by a field goal in overtime at Georgia but then beats the Aggies, it is likely Texas would make it. If they beat Georgia but are blown out on the game of the year, then Texas would probably be left out.

Will the College Football Playoff rankings show be on YouTube TV?

No, the first College Football Playoff selection committee rankings reveal will not be carried on YouTube TV.

The carriage dispute between Disney and YouTube TV that affected millions of college football fans across the country last weekend remains unresolved. Because of that, ABC and the ESPN family of networks do not appear on YouTube TV as Disney and Google, YouTube TV’s parent company, continue to work toward a solution.
