James Madison won the Sun Belt championship over Troy on Friday night, and now the Dukes look to be in position to secure a stunning College Football Playoff berth. 

JMU checked in ranked 25th in the second-to-last CFP rankings. Let's take a look at the Dukes' CFP scenarios before the committee's final rankings come out on Sunday.

Is James Madison in the College Football Playoff? 

The No. 25 Dukes have a chance to be the fifth highest-rated conference champion, behind Indiana, Georgia, Texas Tech and Tulane. Since five-loss Duke upset Virginia to win the ACC championship, JMU will almost assuredly be ranked ahead of Duke and thereby secure an auto-bid.
