Vols' wide receiver named Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award semifinalist

Tennessee redshirt junior wide receiver Chris Brazzell II is a semifinalist for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award.
The honor is presented annually to the nation’s most outstanding NCAA Division I offensive player who either played football at or graduated from a Texas high school or played at a Texas NCAA Division I Texas four-year college. The player must also exhibit enduring characteristics that define Texas legend Earl Campbell, such as integrity, performance, sportsmanship, community and tenacity.
Brazzell II played at Midland Legacy High School in Midland, Texas. He started his career at Tulane before transferring to Tennessee prior to the 2024 season.
After his first season with the Vols, Brazzell II recorded career-highs in receptions (62), receiving yards (1,017) and receiving touchdowns (nine) in 2025. His 1,017 yards leads the SEC and ranks No. 11 nationally. His nine touchdown receptions lead the SEC and ranks No. 15 among FBS teams.
