Social media reacts to USC signing the No. 1 2026 recruiting class

On Wednesday, USC football officially signed its top-ranked 2026 recruiting class. After largely sticking together for many months, at long last, the group is officially Trojans. USC pulled in a class better than Ohio State, better than Oregon, better than Georgia and Alabama, better than ultimately everyone else in the Football Bowl Subdivision. General manager Chad Bowden fixed the problems Lincoln Riley couldn’t solve on his own.

Recruiting Southern California high schools and keeping home elite talent was something Riley did not do on the scale needed to elevate USC to the top of the mountain in college football recruiting. Bowden came in from Notre Dame and gave the Trojans the structure, the organization, and the plan which changed everything on the trail for this program. Now Bowden will turn his attention to the coming transfer portal window to complement this new freshmen class with ready-to-play veterans who can give USC the ultimate roster in 2026.
