‘WRU’ just got another.

Ohio State receivers guru Brian Hartline may be leaving, but the Buckeyes keep reloading with the addition of Chris Henry Jr.

Henry, the top-ranked receiver in the 2026 recruiting class and had been verbally committed to Ohio State since 2023, but chose not to sign initially when the early signing period opened Wednesday as his would-be position coach in Columbus, Hartline, took the head coaching job at South Florida.

The son of the former Cincinnati Bengals receiver reaffirmed his committed to Ohio State on Friday during an appearance on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show.”

“They’re the right fit for me,” Henry said, “I made my decision a couple years ago, and it was the right choice.”

Oregon and USC were among the schools in the mix for Henry, who, is the No. 10 overall prospect in the class, according to composite rankings from 247Sports.
