The College Football National Championship odds have remained relatively the same through the duration of the offseason, and it's mostly those blue-blood programs we're used to seeing at the top of the college football odds board.
One team to keep an eye on as we enter the dog days of summer is the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who may have just gotten their starting QB back.

Dan Lanning's Oregon Ducks are going to break through. It's only a matter of time.
Dante Moore passed up the NFL Draft to return for his senior season, and he'll have Evan Stewart (missed all of last season with a knee injury) and 2025 No. 1 wide receiver recruit Dakorien Moore to throw to.
Trips to USC and Ohio State are the only scary matchups on the schedule, and they'll have chances to boost their resume with home games against Michigan and Washington in the final three weeks of the season.
I project this as an 11-1 season, with that lone loss coming at Ohio State on November 7, but that record with a potential Big Ten title game appearance could be enough for a first-round bye in the CFP.
Texas Tech National Championship odds
While Brad Powers is backing the Red Raiders to win the Big 12 at -130, the Natty odds are also worth a look.
Sitting at +2200 entering the day, books have shortened the Red Raiders odds to +1500 following the injunction granted to Brendan Sorsby that would allow him to return to play.
The news pushed Texas Tech by Texas A&M and LSU, now sitting eighth on the odds board. Keep an eye on the story, as an NCAA appeal to the ruling may fluctuate the price.

- Indiana Hoosiers -250
This means that if you bet on Indiana, you would need to bet $250 to profit $100 if the Hoosiers won the championship.
Of course, futures odds are a fluid market. They can change every day based on news, injuries, suspensions, transfers, etc. In college football, there generally isn't too much movement in the futures market during the offseason, but once the season begins, look for huge changes week-to-week based on wins and losses.
