Lane Kiffin got another one. LSU football has officially signed Rivals’ third-ranked defensive lineman in the 2026 class, Deuce Geralds. Geralds has drawn interest from many top programs, including Ohio State, Oregon, and Michigan, but announced his decision to sign with the Tigers on Friday morning.
Geralds is the third top-ranked defensive tackle to sign with LSU in this year’s class, joining five stars Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson.
Geralds doesn’t have the same physical stature as the other two, standing 6-2 and 275 pounds, but his 247Sports scouting report shows why he could have a role early on with the Tigers.
“Outstanding timing allows him to beat blockers to the edge while slick agility allows him to cut inside… Frequently attacks with a purpose and is quick to get into secondary moves as plays progress… Should be viewed as a nimble three-technique that can help create negative plays for a College Football Playoff contender with his skill and athleticism.”
Geralds finished his high school career as Georgia's all-time leader in career sacks, and his deep bag of tricks could help him earn playing time as a freshman on third downs.
