Kirby Smart shared classy moment with Ty Simpson after Georgia-Alabama

It’s no secret that Alabama struggled mightily against Georgia during Saturday’s SEC championship game in Atlanta.

However, Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart still showed Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson a lot of respect after the win.

Smart and Simpson shared in a classy exchange, where Smart seemed to build Simpson up after spending four quarters tearing him down with the ferocious Georgia defense.

This was a nice move for Smart, who could have just briefly shook Simpson’s hand and move on but took a moment to encourage the Alabama quarterback after a tough afternoon.

Good on Smart for remembering sportsmanship during a celebratory moment.
