The Oregon Ducks had the week off in Week 10, and it came at a critical juncture. They currently sit with a 7-1 record, including 4-1 in the Big Ten. Though they’ve suffered just one loss, coming at the hands of Indiana, their offense has struggled of late.
It struggled mightily against the Hoosiers, managing just 13 points with quarterback Dante Moore throwing two costly interceptions late. They rebounded the next week by putting up 56 points on Rutgers, with the entire offense amassing 750 total yards of offense.
Consistency has been hard to find however, as they followed up that near-record breaking performance with a dud against Wisconsin in Week 9. Playing in a downpour, the Ducks scored just seven points in the first half and 21 points overall, as backup quarterback Brock Thomas ignited two second-half scoring drives after Moore went down with an injury.
With Week 10 having come to a close and the Ducks preparing for the Iowa Hawkeyes in Week 11, let’s take a look at where Oregon ranks nationally in several key stats. Despite several subpar performances of late, they’re still ranking as one of the top offenses in the country.
