One of the Spartans' top defensive players this past season is heading to the Hula Bowl All-Star Game.

It was officially announced on Monday that Michigan State safety Malik Spencer will play in the 2026 Altrua HealthShare Hula Bowl All-Star Game. Per a post from the Hula Bowl's social media account, Spencer has accepted his invitation to the all-star game.

Spencer played in 38 games during his four-year career at Michigan State, finishing with 173 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. He was a regular starter for the Spartans the last three seasons and should get a chance in the NFL next year now that his time at Michigan State is done.

The Hula Bowl will take place on January 10, 2026. The game is scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. ET and will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
