Entering the 2025 season, it was always going to start up front for the Iowa Hawkeyes on the offensive side of the ball. The offensive line is loaded with veterans, oozing with talent, and has more than delivered on very high expectations entering the season.
The group consisting of Logan Jones, Beau Stephens, Gennings Dunker, Kade Pieper, and Trevor Lauck was the catalyst for the Iowa run game and offense this year. The performance from this group has been among the nation's elite, and it has earned them a spot as a finalist for the Joe Moore Award.
The Joe Moore Award is presented annually to the best offensive line unit in college football.

The Joe Moore Award was created in 2015, and if Iowa were to win the award this year, it would join just Alabama and Michigan as the only programs to win the award twice, as the Hawkeyes took home this award in 2016.
In 2025, the Hawkeyes' offensive line bulldozed the way for Iowa to run for 2,315 total yards, 178 yards per game, 26 rushing touchdowns, and a very healthy average of 4.6 yards per carry.
The other two finalists for the Joe Moore Award also reside in the Big Ten. The finalists alongside Iowa are the Oregon Ducks and the Indiana Hoosiers.
