Killingly state title football game moved to New Britain

Saturday's Class SS CIAC Football State Championship game between Killingly High School and Daniel Hand High School, originally scheduled to be played at the Coast Guard Academy, will now take place Saturday at Veterans Stadium in New Britain. Kickoff time is at 10 a.m.

There will be four state championship games held at Veterans Stadium on Saturday.

Killingly senior Hayden Allard (32) rushed for 229 yards and scored four touchdowns in the Trailblazers' 44-15 Class SS semifinal win against Ledyard on Monday at Morgan Field.

10 a.m. – Class SS – Killingly vs. Daniel Hand; 1 p.m. – Class S – Sheehan vs. Northwest Catholic; 4 p.m. – Class L – New Canaan vs. Cheshire; 7 p.m. – Class LL – Greenwich vs. Southington.
