"College GameDay" is headed back to Norman.
The flagship college-football preview show on ESPN will be headed the campus of the University of Oklahoma for the second time this season, now for the Sooners' game against Alabama in the College Football Playoff. Back in September, the crew visited for Oklahoma-vs-Michigan.
Incidentally, it's also the second time No. 8 Oklahoma will play No. 9 Alabama. OU won the previous meeting in November in Tuscaloosa, a win that kept Oklahoma's hopes to even make the playoff alive. The Sooners then won their final two games of the regular season to lock up the spot. The winner of the game moves on to face No. 1 Indiana in the next round in January.
The "College GameDay" will set up on the South Oval for the morning show then move inside Memorial Stadium ahead of kickoff at 7 p.m.
