Spartans extend offer to 1,000-yard transfer portal wide receiver

Michigan State football is the latest power program to extend an offer to a transfer wide receiver prospect that's getting a ton of buzz.

Corey Scott of Division II West Florida announced on Thursday that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Scott made the offer from the Spartans known by posting on his social media X account.

Scott will be a redshirt junior next season, meaning two he'll have two years of eligibility remaining. This past season, Scott recorded 63 receptions for 1,018 yards and four touchdowns for West Florida. He is listed at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, and is originally from Jacksonville.

Per Scott's social media account, he has received offers and/or interest from Iowa, Minnesota, UCLA, Cincinnati, Temple, Akron, Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, Marshall, Georgia State, Georgia Southern and Florida Atlantic.
