Michigan State football has a new head coach in town as Pat Fitzgerald takes the reins from Jonathan Smith, and he has slowly started to piece together his staff. Interestingly, Fitzgerald has opted to keep a few coaches from the last administration in the fold, like defensive coordinator Joe Rossi, while also adding fan-favorite moves like bringing Max Bullough home to MSU. According to a report from John Brice, running backs coach Keith Bhonapha will not be one of the coaches sticking around in East Lansing.

Keith Bhonapha wore many hats for the Spartans this past year, from associate head coach to running backs coach, and also acted as the co-special Teams coordinator. Like Jonathan Smith, Bhonapha spent most of his career out west, coaching for Boise State, Washington, and he spent one year with Jonathan Smith at Oregon State before following Smith to East Lansing.
