The Buckeyes concluded their 2025 regular season with a Big Ten championship loss to Indiana. Ohio State is a No. 2 seed in the College Football Playoff and will play in the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas.

Ohio State clinched the No. 2 seed in the 2025 College Football Playoff and will not play until the quarterfinals against the winner of No. 7 Texas A&M and No. 10 Miami in the first round.
The first round of the CFP starts on Dec. 19 when No. 8 Oklahoma takes on No. 9 Alabama. Texas A&M and Miami play at noon Dec. 20.
When does Ohio State football play next?
