One of the most prominent programs in college football is working to flip a Michigan State commit.

Michigan State verbal commitment Samson Gash announced on Friday that he’s received an offer from Georgia. Gash made the offer from the Bulldogs known by posting on his social media X account.

Gash is a four-star wide receiver prospect, with a recruiting rating of 90 in 247Sports’ ratings system. He ranks as the No. 50 wide receiver in the class and No. 5 player from Michigan.

Gash has been verbally committed to Michigan State since the summer, but elected to not sign his national letter of intent with the Spartans during the early signing period. Since then, he’s now picked up offers from Penn State and Georgia. Alabama has also been previously heavily involved in his recruitment and working to flip him their way throughout the fall.

It’s clear that Gash is going to continue to get some love from major programs, but at the moment, Michigan State is still at least in the mix and holding his verbal commitment. We will have to see if they can keep that through until the next signing period in February or if he’ll ultimately end up somewhere else.
