Another member of Mike Norvell’s coaching staff is on the move.

Florida State football‘s quarterbacks coach, Tony Tokartz, is expected to be hired as Buffalo‘s next offensive coordinator, the Bulls program confirmed on Dec. 13. Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer of CBS Sports were first to report the news.

This will be the fourth member of Norvell’s staff from this season to move on after going 5-7. Tokartz has worked for Norvell for the last six years at FSU and three years as a tight ends coach at Memphis.

He has been highly involved in developing former All-ACC quarterback Jordan Travis, but since then, he has struggled to develop the quarterbacks Norvell has brought in.

Tokartz also failed to bring in better quarterbacks, only to deal with DJ Uiagalelei and Tommy Castellanos in back-to-back years. With Tokartz likely gone, it leaves another job opening on Norvell’s staff.

Patrick Suratin Sr was recently dismissed from the team, and running backs coach Davis Johnson accepted the same role in Arkansas.
