MADISON – Almost one year after he committed to Wisconsin, Antarron Turner announced his departure from the program.
The junior linebacker announced on X that he will transfer for his final season of college eligibility.
Turner came to the Badgers after a breakthrough season at FCS Western Carolina, where he tied for the team lead with 61 tackles.
At Wisconsin, however, he didn’t make an impact after a promising start. He spent the early portion of spring practice on the second team at linebacker but slid down the depth the chart during fall camp.
He didn’t appear in any games for the Badgers.
