The Arizona Cardinals appear to be nearing some changes on the coaching staff. No, there is no news that the team will be parting ways with head coach Jonathan Gannon, but one of his defensive staff appears to be on the way out.

According to 247 Sports, Cardinals defensive line coach Winston DeLattiboudere (Coach Debo) is headed to Michigan State as part of new head coach Pat Fitzgerald's new staff.

It appears that one year in the NFL was enough for him.

Per the report:

DeLattiboudere wanted to return to college coaching after spending the 2025 season in the NFL and had multiple P4 suitors vying for him. He chose MSU, as he wanted to reunite with defensive coordinator Joe Rossi. Not only did DeLattiboudere coach under Rossi for the 2023 season, but he also played under him for three seasons at Minnesota.

Debo was hired after only having college experience at Minnesota. He was a former college teammate of Cardinals defensive coordinator Nick Rallis.

He earned a reputation for being high-energy and even participating in drills with players.

The desire to move back to the college ranks suggests that perhaps he prefers college players to pros.

Gannon was asked about it Monday. He had "nothing to add on that."

We will hear more in the weeks to come.
