The NCAA transfer portal will take place Jan. 2-16, 2026. Michigan quarterback Jadyn Davis, a former Tennessee recruiting target, plans to enter the transfer portal, according to Pete Nakos of On3.

The 6-foot-1, 297-pound sophomore appeared in four games for the Wolverines from 2024-25. He completed 0-of-2 passing attempts for one interception, while totaling negative-six rushing yards on one attempt at Michigan.

Tennessee and head coach Josh Heupel offered Davis a scholarship on May 24, 2021. He unofficially visited the Vols on July 28, 2021, Oct. 16, 2021, April 1, 2022 and Oct. 15, 2022.

Davis committed to Michigan on March 31, 2023. Tennessee, Michigan, Clemson, Ohio State and North Carolina were his top-five finalist schools.

Davis is from Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tennessee freshman offensive lineman David Sanders Jr. also went to Providence Day School.

The former Michigan quarterback was ranked as a four-star prospect by 247Sports.
