Urban Meyer is still owed for putting his money where his mouth is.
The ex-Ohio State football coach on Dec. 15 stated that Barstool Sports owner and avid Michigan fan Dave Portnoy still owes him $1,000 to donate to the Buckeyes‘ NIL fund, as per the terms of the bet the FOX Sports “Big Noon Kickoff” personalities agreed to on the day of the Ohio State-Michigan game.
“Portnoy still owes me a thousand bucks, I know that,” Meyer said during an episode of “The Triple Option” podcast.
When the two made the bet on Nov. 29 gameday, fellow FOX Sports commentator Rob Gronkowski told the two to “make sure the loser follows up as well.”

“Yeah, a hundred percent,” Portnoy said in response.
Now 17 days since the bet was placed and Ohio State beat Michigan 27-9, “The Triple Option” X account posted a message to Portnoy after the video clip of the bet, reading, “Please pay your debts, Dave. Respectfully, Coach Meyer.”
