Longhorns Daily News: Michael Taffe, Anthony Hill, Colin Simmons earn All-American honors

Three Texas football teammates were among those to receive All-America honors this season. That includes defensive back Michael Taffee, despite missing some of the end of the regular season due to injury; linebacker Anthony Hill, who also missed time due to injury; and defensive end and edge Colin Simmons. The American Football Coaches Association named Taaffe to its first-team, while Taaffee also made second-team for the AP squad this year.
Hill received a second-team nod from the AP, as well as a second-team AFCA honor.
Simmons also received a second-team nod from the AFCA.
