Major college football program named as ‘school to watch’ for Nebraska QB Dylan Raiola

Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola is expected to enter the transfer portal when it opens on Jan. 2.
Raiola has been with Nebraska for the past two seasons and finished the 2025 season with 2,000 yards through the air, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions. It came after he finished the 2024 season with 2,819 yards through the air, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
He has two years of eligibility remaining and will look to further his development at another school.
On Monday, On3’s Pete Nakos reported that Texas Tech wasn’t an option for Raiola, and on Tuesday, he added that Louisville is a “school to watch” for the quarterback.
Louisville will need a new starting quarterback for the 2026 season, since Miller Moss had only one year of eligibility remaining entering the 2025 season. He spent four seasons at USC before transferring to Louisville ahead of this season.
Louisville was in contention to win the ACC title this year before finishing the regular season with an 8-4 record. Louisville was 7-1 at one point until it lost three of its last four games.
Jeff Brohm has been the head coach at Louisville for three seasons and has a 27-12 overall record. He left Purdue to coach at Louisville after the 2022 season.
Louisville will finish its 2025 season against Toledo in the Boca Raton Bowl on Dec. 23. Kickoff will be at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN.
