It should come as no surprise that Notre Dame was going to see some attrition after the abrupt conclusion to the 2025 season, and it continued on Wednesday.
Not only did the Irish see its two star running back in Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price decided their next snaps will be in the NFL, a few players have hit the transfer portal. Quarterbacks Kenny Minchey and Anthony Rezac have already made it known that they will enter the portal and now cornerback Chance Tucker will do the same according to Pete Nakos.
A senior from California, Tucker joined the team in 2021 as a 3-star recruit, but couldn’t ever really stay on the field. He saw the field the most during his junior season in 2023, but got injured in 2024, and then wasn’t quite ready to contribute this fall at a high-level.
Tucker will move away from the program as a graduate, as he’ll look to find a place where he can see the field more. We wish Chance the best of luck as he continues his football journey.
NEW: Notre Dame cornerback Chance Tucker is entering the transfer portal, his reps @JonM_Salter and @josephtimpanodm tell @PeteNakos.
