Something that has been a talking point surrounding the matchup since it was announced, just what is the weather forecast for Friday night’s CFP first round showdown between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooners?

According to the latest update from James Spann of the Alabama Weather Network on Wednesday afternoon, it will be clear skies for the Friday night game between Alabama and Oklahoma, with temperatures likely ranging from the mid-to-low 50’s throughout the game.

Per Spann, the forecast during the game could also be windy at times, which will certainly be something to monitor on special teams in particular.

The Crimson Tide and Sooners are set to kickoff at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 19 from Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. The game will be televised live on both ABC and ESPN, and the winner will advance to the quarterfinals for a matchup with No. 1 Indiana.
