The Iowa Hawkeyes have managed to avoid too much NCAA transfer portal news up to this point, but departures are inevitable in today's college football landscape. Departures don't have to be a negative thing, either. Sometimes a player can go start elsewhere and seek the best opportunity for themselves.
Such is the case with Iowa's latest transfer portal development. Running back Terrell Washington Jr. is reportedly entering the transfer portal and will explore other programs after spending three seasons with the Hawkeyes' program.
The news of Washington's path to the transfer portal comes from Matt Zenitz and Eliot Clough.
