One former Penn State football star believes that his Nittany Lions have found themselves a national championship head coach.
Former PSU All-American and four-time Super Bowl champ Matt Millen, of course, has some poignant reasons for his assessment — as well as his thoughts on the Lions’ 2025 season and interim coach Terry Smith.
It’s a nice boost of confidence for Matt Campbell, who’s navigating a myriad of transitional head coach functions, from building a new staff to recruiting to recalibrating the Lions’ roster with the NCAA transfer portal opening in two weeks.
All while his new team prepares to play Clemson in the Dec. 27 Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium.
