OU football OL Jake Maikkula CFP status revealed vs Alabama

NORMAN — OU football offensive lineman Jake Maikkula has officially been ruled out for Friday’s CFP game against Alabama.
Maikkula, who was limited this week in practice, was ruled as doubtful Thursday night. The Sooners‘ starting center had started 10 consecutive games before missing the LSU game after being hospitalized due to an infection.
Febechi Nwaiwu is expected to start in Maikkula’s place against the Crimson Tide.
