Kalen DeBoer and No. 9 seed Alabama made history on Friday, Dec. 19.

The Crimson Tide not only became the first team in the expanded College Football Playoff era to win a first-round game on the road — teams were previously 0-4, dating to last season — but also did so by matching the largest comeback in CFP history. They overcame a 17-0 deficit vs. No. 8 Oklahoma to win 34-24 and avenge their earlier loss to the Sooners this season.
