During every college football season, we like to follow Joel Klatt and his opinion rankings and what he says about all things going on in the game. That doesn’t change with the start of the 12-team College Football Playoff.

If you don’t follow Klatt, we recommend you do because he’s one of the most analytical, sensible, and unbiased voices out there — unlike others we could point to. Klatt’s Joel Klatt Show podcast is a must-listen and must-watch if you like to dial up YouTube. He recently picked the entire CFP bracket, and that includes how far he thinks defending champion Ohio State will go, and as usual, there’s a lot of good analysis.
